PFP
Electrical Products Ltd was founded on 1st October 1997 as a result of a
merger between Petrel Ltd and Fitter and Poulton Ltd, both of which were
subsidiaries of Chamberlin & Hill PLC. Benefits of the merger have
included greater flexibility and therefore an imporved service for our
customers, a strengthened management team, and greater
investment.
Petrel Ltd specialised in the design and
manufacture of electrical control and distribution equipment, junction
boxes and lighting for use in hazardous areas, and supplied the UK,
Europe, the Middle and Far East. These products are now marketed under
Petrel brand name.
Fitter and Poulton Ltd supplied a range of fast
moving electrical eqiupment, such as switch and socket boxes, conduit
fittings, IP65 steel enclosures and the Clip-In range to electrical
wholesalers throughout the UK and enjoyed some export, mainly to the
Middle East. Fitter and Poulton has been retained as the brand name for
these products.
Since
the merger PFP has launched two major lighting ranges: the Petrelux 7
Series of flame-proof fluorescents and the EV 5 Series of increased safety
fuorescents. The company intends to concentrate on further updating and
enlarging other product ranges, and constantly striving to give the best
possible service to their customers.
